    Description

    1950’s Sears Craftsman Motor, 1/2 hp, 3450 RPM, 7.8 A, Type CR180K9. Model # 115 7556 with 1/2” Dual Shaft “D” shaped. Mfg date code of 1953. Good power with 7.8 Amps. Functions as originally intended with nice old humming sound. Cord is original and has some bad crackle, so it should be replaced, but no internal wires are frayed. Weighs approximately 29 lbs. On/off toggle switch. Bearings sound good and brake actuates appropriately. Has some rust from sitting in basement for 70 years and aluminum body enclosure faded when cleaned. Mfg in 1953.
